Secret #7: Consulting with Guides

This week's secret is Consulting with Guides. I just love when it's a secret that I know we're already rocking out! As we listen to each of the interviews with Highly Creative Bloggers, we are consulting with guides. As we visit each other's blogs and take inspiration, we are consulting with guides. Let's expand our reach even further by sharing with one another guides that have helped us along the way - books, singers, websites, writers, poems, coaches, maps, videos. Let's spread the love.

And know that every time you post to your blog, you are being a guide. Trust that. Know that. When you shine your light, the path is lit for others as well as yourself. Shine, beautiful you. Shine.

Thank you to everyone who is participating in this sacred and juicy process of self-discovery. You all are some of my dearest and sweetest guides. Jamie's interview with Melba really took me by surprise. I really resonated with the Melba's statement about the soul as our guide and Jaime's statement about us all being each others' guides. I am now starting to see how many guides I have. The number is beyond counting. Many blessings.

I think about my comment to Blisschicks post today, and a response she sent to me recently. I have more guides then I credit. And always there are books that have acted as guides, the two I mentioned in my comment mentioned above are just two or many many books that have provided inspiration and insight.

I am so glad to hear that there is a new group in the works. I don't think I'd be ready to leave this community after the 12th secret. Let's stay together.

OK, I took a risk - despite my hang- ups with not liking my voice, I did a podcast as my post this week.

hey jamie,

i LOVE this chapter. one of my FAVOURITE things to talk about in the whole world...though it's funny because i did not blog even REMOTELY about what i thought i would. i just kinda let myself surrender to the moment...quite interesting what came out. :) alternatively, i could have gone on forever about all the guides in my life...i am rich in them. and always keeping my eyes and heart open for them.
